What 0107 covers
Personal care: helping a participant with showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and moving around, plus personal domestic activities, live-in carer support, sleepovers and on-call overnight support.
The NDIS Support Catalogue 2026-27 lists 18 support items under 0107, funded from the Assistance with Daily Life budget. Leaving out the time-of-day, rate-level and claim-type variants, the supports are:
- Assistance With Self-Care Activities
- Assistance From Live-In Carer
- Assistance with Personal Domestic Activities
- Assistance With Self-Care Activities - Night-Time Sleepover
- On-Call Overnight Monitoring-Off Site or Onsite (Includes 1 hour of assistance)
- Intensive and Complex Behaviour Supports
Who registers for 0107
Independent support workers and disability support providers who deliver personal care in a participant’s home or the community.
Groups 0107 is often confused with
- 0120 Household tasks covers cleaning, gardening and other help around the home, where no personal care is involved.
- 0104 High intensity daily personal activities is for high-intensity personal care such as complex bowel care or tube feeding.
- 0125 Participation in community, social and civic activities is supporting someone out in the community. Many support workers register for both.
Audit: verification or certification?
0107 is a certification group. You are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards Core Module, in two stages, with an onsite visit, interviews with workers and participants, and a mid-term audit. Your audit type is set by the highest of your groups, so registering for 0107 makes your whole registration a certification audit. See verification vs certification audits, how the NDIS audit works and what a certification audit costs.
If you use regulated restrictive practices, or carry out a behaviour support plan that includes them, you must be registered and you are also assessed against the Implementing Behaviour Support Plans Module. Our guide to Module 2A explains what that involves.
Groups often registered alongside 0107
- 0125 Participation in community, social and civic activities (certification)
- 0120 Household tasks (verification)
- 0117 Development of daily living and life skills (certification)
- 0136 Group and centre-based activities (certification)
Only register for the groups you actually deliver: every extra group adds to what the auditor checks. Our guide to choosing your NDIS registration groups walks through it.
Documents you need for 0107
A certification audit checks your policies, procedures and records against the Core Module: participant rights, governance and operational management, how you deliver supports, and the environment you deliver them in. The auditor then looks for evidence you follow them, through your records and interviews.
If you help participants with medication or mealtimes, you also need medication and mealtime management policies and records.

Is NDIS registration group 0107 verification or certification?
0107 (Assistance with daily personal activities) is a certification group, so registering for it means a certification audit against the NDIS Practice Standards Core Module. Because your audit type is set by the highest of your groups, adding 0107 makes your whole registration a certification audit.
Do I need to be NDIS registered to provide assistance with daily personal activities?
Not for every participant. Unregistered providers can deliver 0107 supports to self-managed and plan-managed participants. You need to be registered to be paid from NDIA-managed funding. You also need to be registered if you use regulated restrictive practices or implement a behaviour support plan that includes them.
What supports are in registration group 0107?
In the 2026-27 NDIS Support Catalogue, 0107 has 18 support items, including Assistance With Self-Care Activities; Assistance From Live-In Carer; Assistance with Personal Domestic Activities; Assistance With Self-Care Activities - Night-Time Sleepover; On-Call Overnight Monitoring-Off Site or Onsite (Includes 1 hour of assistance). Different times of day, rate levels and claim types are listed as separate items.
What documents do I need to register for 0107?
A certification audit checks your policies, procedures and records against the Core Module (rights, governance, how you deliver supports, and the support environment), and then looks for evidence you follow them. Most providers work from a full set of governance, participant, worker and incident documents.
