What 0137 covers
Providing an NDIS digital platform service: running an app or website that connects participants with support workers or providers. It was added by the rules that took effect on 1 July 2026.
There are no support items under 0137. It covers the platform service itself, not the supports delivered through it.
Who registers for 0137
Businesses that operate online platforms connecting NDIS participants with workers or providers.
From 1 July 2026, operating an NDIS digital platform requires registration. Platforms that were operating before then have transitional arrangements set by the NDIS Commission.
Audit: verification or certification?
0137 is a certification group. You are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards Core Module, in two stages, with an onsite visit, interviews with workers and participants, and a mid-term audit. Your audit type is set by the highest of your groups, so registering for 0137 makes your whole registration a certification audit. See verification vs certification audits, how the NDIS audit works and what a certification audit costs.
Documents you need for 0137
A certification audit checks your policies, procedures and records against the Core Module: participant rights, governance and operational management, how you deliver supports, and the environment you deliver them in. The auditor then looks for evidence you follow them, through your records and interviews.
